Texto - Dating - 6º ano
In Britain young people (teenagers) start dating around the age of 14 or 15.
In the UK it’s common for young people to go out on a date without their parents.
Teenagers usually go out to watch a film, attend a party or watch a concert or other
event. Usually young people in the UK go on dates with people they know for fun.
Going on a date doesn’t mean the couple will get married. Teenagers usually chose
their own dates however sometimes they meet someone they haven’t met before, this
is called a “blind date”. Sometimes two couples go on a date as a group and this is
called a “double date”. When a couple go out on a date sometimes they share the cost
or “go Dutch”. However sometimes the boy will pay.
